Scott Patterson is an American actor, musician, and professional baseball player. He is known for his roles as Luke on the show Gilmore Girls and Agent Strahm in the Saw movies.
Scott is the son of of Hope Gordon, a journalist and actor in the Haddonfield Plays and Players Theatre Troupe, and Francis Ford Patterson IV, an advertising executive. On his father’s side, he is a direct descendant of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States, and Richard Leeds, a prominent settler and patriarch of Pine Barrens in South Jersey. Scott’s mother was the daughter of Russian Jewish parents.
He is married to Kristine Saryan, with whom he has a son.
