Wilson Bethel is an American actor. He is known for starring in the television series Hart of Dixie. He is the son of author Joyce Maynard (Daphne Joyce Maynard) and Stephen Bethel.

Wilson’s maternal grandparents were Max S. Maynard and Fredelle Bruser (the daughter of Boris Bruser and Rona Slobinsky). Max was born in India, to English Fundamentalist missionary parents, and later moved to Canada. Fredelle was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, to Russian Jewish parents.
