Gabriel-Kane’s grandmother Jill was an actress, who was born in London, England, of Latvian Jewish and Polish Jewish ancestry. Gabriel-Kane’s great-grandfather Michael Balcon was a famous film producer who ran Ealing Studios.
Gabriel-Kane’s maternal grandparents were Mohammed Cherif Adjani and Emma Augusta “Gusti” Schweinberger. Mohammed was of Algerian-Kabyle descent, from Iferhounène, Kabylie. Emma was German.
