Vincent’s paternal grandparents were Raymond Lindon (the son of Alfred Abner Lindenbaum/Lindon and Fernande Citroën) and Thérèse Baur/Bour (the daughter of Jules Albert Baur and Berthe Weill). Alfred was a noted jeweller, born in Krakow, Poland. Fernande’s brother was famous industrialist André Citroën. Fernande’s father, Levie Barend Citroën, was from the Netherlands, and Fernande’s mother, Masza Amalia Kleinmann, was from Warsaw, Poland.
