Stanley’s paternal grandparents were Elias Kubrick (the son of Hersh Kubrick) and Rosa “Rose” Spiegelblatt. Elias is said to have been born in Ukraine, Austria, Poland, or Romania. Rosa was born in Austria or Romania.
Stanley’s maternal grandparents were Samuel Perveler (the son of Israel Perveler and Brane) and Celia Siegel (the daughter of Joseph Siegel and Gittel). Samuel was born in Austria. Celia was born in Russia.
