Julie’s paternal grandparents were Aaron/Orel Taymor (the son of Kopel Leibov Teitelbaum) and Emma B. Madfis (the daughter of Jacob Madfis and Dora Tina Bilick). Aaron was a Polish Jewish immigrant. Emma was a Ukrainian Jewish immigrant.
