Doug Fieger was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band The Knack.
Doug was the son of June Beth (Oberer) and Bernard Julian Fieger. His brother is attorney Geoffrey Fieger. Doug’s father was Jewish, and his mother was of half German and half Norwegian descent.
Doug’s paternal grandparents were Gerrie Fieger (the son of Aaron/Irvin Fieger and Rachel/Rachael/Regine Granitzer/Grenetse/Granetza/Granitza) and Charlotte. Irvin and Rachel were born in Risch, Poland.
