Mike D is an American rapper, musician, producer, songwriter, and fashion designer. He was a member of the hip hop group Beastie Boys, in which he played the drums. Other members included Ad-Rock and Adam Yauch.
Mike is the son of Hester K., an interior designer, and Harold Diamond, and art dealer. He grew up in a Jewish family. Mike is married to director Tamra Davis.
